Origin: Our wild honey is drawn from the humid tropical forests of Madagascar. Then flavored and macerated with vanilla bean for several months.  By tasting it, you feel the freshness of nature, without any preparation. Mode of obtaining: The obtaining of this honey is based on the hunting and the destruction of the colonies of wild bees in the forest.  In order to get all the combs, it is necessary to apply the smoker on the bee colonies.  For the harvest of wild honey, the "bozaka" or a simple burned cloth is used as smoker.  All the combs are detached with the hand and put in a bucket for the transport and a jerry can or bottle to put the extracted honey.  In one hunt, an average of 10 to 30 trees allow to recover about 15 to 20 liters of wild honey. This practice does not need to cut down the trees, it is enough to have the astuteness to climb.  This preserves both the colony and its environment. In maceration for several months with Vanilla beans, gives it an aroma with warm notes of chocolate very intense.
